Maximilian is a young designer and interdisciplinary artist from Linz testing contemporary visual and new media culture. He is working with sound:frame for the Vienna based media arts festival CIVA and is part of the collective room69. He started studying design in Lisbon and after an internship at Forward Creatives applied to the University of Applied Arts Vienna, where he is studying Graphic Design and Transmedia Arts.
Maximilian Prag works with new media in between visual communication and art on new formats of digital representation, virtual worlds, generative design and multimedia installations. He is interested in contemporary imagery, internet culture and experimenting with phygital experiences exploring new interactions in between our mixed realities online and away from screens. The collective work, community and collaborations are also important parts of his artistic practice.
