Illustration

Miró Ingmar Tiebe aka MIRUEL is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Hamburg, Germany. In his work he is always looking for more diversity in his style. In that way he isn’t strictly bound to one style in his illustrations and graphics and finds satisfaction in new challenges. This opens up a wider range of potential clients for him.

As editorial illustrator, his clients include different magazines, such as Zeit Magazine, Das Wetter, Viva Con Aqua, NEON and Harper Bazaar China. In addition to his editorial illustration clients, he works primarily for the music industry. He has designed numerous vinyl covers, merchandise, logos, flyers and posters. For example for and with labels, clubs and musicians, like Toy Tonics, Robert-Johnson Club, Shall Not Fade, Club Cringe, Rhizome, AEDEN Club and many more. The third field he is working in is live-painting for companies like fritz-kola, Linie Aquavit and Jameson Whiskey.

In addition to his client-related work, he is featured in art and culture related magazines, books and newspapers. Another big step forward in MIRUEL’s career came in 2019 when he was accepted into Cornelia Funke’s artist residency program. In 2022 he published his first artist book “FRAGMENTS” together with 100for10.
